Christoforos Skamnakis

Dr. Christoforos Skamnakis is an Assistant Professor of Social Policy. He studied social policy and anthropology and he received his PhD degree in Social Policy in 2003. From 2004 to 2018 he worked at the Department of Social Administration and Political Science at Democritus University of Thrace.   His main research interests are in the field of applied social policy and the planning of social protection policies, as they specialize mainly in local-level, also the sub-national dimension of social policy in the EU countries.
