Eleni Prokou

Eleni Prokou is Professor of Education Policy at the Department of Social Policy of Panteion University. She is also a Member of the Collaborating Teaching Staff at the Hellenic Open University. She completed her undergraduate (B.A.) studies in the Sciences of Education at the University of Athens and her postgraduate (M.A.) studies in Organisation, Planning and Management in Education at the University of Reading – UK. She holds a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Comparative Education from the Institute of Education of the University of London. Her research work and publications focus on the analysis and interpretation of higher education and adult education / lifelong learning policies, with emphasis on issues related to linking education and social policy.
