Comparative Education Policy

The course aims at providing a comparative approach to issues of education policy in European countries, with emphasis in the influences from European Education Policy. To this direction, the basic principles of Comparative Education, as a field of study, are discussed, while policies in higher education and adult education / lifelong learning in Europe are analysed and interpreted, with emphasis in issues of planning and evaluation, access and participation, links between education and training and the labour market, internationalisation etc.
