Postgraduate Study Program

The Postgraduate Study Program "Analysis and Implementation of Social Policy" offers two specialisations:

  • Social Policy Analysis
  • Social Problems and Social Policy.

The duration of the postgraduate studies is three (3) academic semesters, including the preparation of the Diploma Thesis.

There are three types of courses in each specialisation:

  • Obligatory Courses
  • Compulsory Selection Courses
  • Optional Courses

Distribution of courses per semester

In the first semester the students have two (2) compulsory courses and the remaining credits will be filled in either by a Compulsory Selection Course or by an Optional Course. In the 2nd Semester, students should choose at least two (2) Compulsory Selection Courses or at least one (1) Compulsory Option in case they have chosen a Compulsory Selection course in the first semester. The remaining credits will be filled in either by Compulsory Selection Courses or by an Optional Courses. The 3rd Semester is dedicated to the preparation of the diploma thesis.
