Social Change and Social Policy - Changement social et poliques sociales

The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the thematic unit of Social Change as a basic sociological concept and to its relationship with social policy. Emphasis is placed on understanding the processes of Social Change and the factors that cause it. Definition of the concept and phenomenon of Social Change and systematic analysis of the elements of the definition. Examples of understanding: Stability and Change, The Theory of Evolution, Development and Modernization, Factors of Social Change and Directions of Social Change. Social Change in relation to modern Social Policy and the fields of Education, Labour, Family, Economy, Health, Exclusion, Migration in an environment of economic and social crisis.
