Apostolos Kapsalis is a Labor Law Lawyer, holds a Degree from the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labor Law (DEA Droit Social) from the Robert Schuman Law School in Strasbourg, France. He completed with honors his Doctoral Thesis on the subject of Migrant Work in Greece at the Department of Social Policy of Panteion University under the supervision of Professor Giannis Kouzis. Under the supervision of the same professor, he prepared a post-doctoral thesis in the said Department as a State Scholar (IKY) on the subject of Occasional employment, migration and undeclared work in the agricultural sector.

He is an NSRF lecturer in the Department of Social Policy at postgraduate and post-graduate level and specifically teaches the courses Labor and Immigration, Immigration and Immigration Policy and Labor, Employment and Social Policy. He also teaches European and national migration policy at postgraduate level at the Department of Political Science and History of Panteion University and at the Department of Social and Educational Policy of the University of Peloponnese. He also teaches Labor Relations and Immigration Policy at the National School of Public Administration and Self-Government. He works as a Labor Relations Researcher at the GSEE Labor Institute. He is also a scientific collaborator of the Social Polycenter of ADEDY, while he has been the Special Secretary of the Labor Inspection Body (Ministry of Labour, 2015).

Research interests: collective and individual labor relations, undeclared work, non-compliance at work and social security, trade unions, labor movement, immigration policy, integration policies, employment discrimination.
