1st Newsletter - ASTRAPI project

Violence and harassment in the workplace have gained increasing attention in recent years in courts as well as in EU and national policy making. Considering the magnitude of this problem, the Centre for Gender Studies of the Department of Social Policy became involved in the EU Erasmus+ ASTRAPI Project: Active strategies for prevention and handling sexual harassment incidents. It aims to develop effective intervention strategies, training methodologies, curricula and tools and to build self-awareness regarding prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace. It also will transfer necessary skills to address reporting and handling sexual harassment issues and complaints. The initiative, led by the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration, brings together 7 European organizations located in Denmark, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Spain, and Greece.
