Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Hub for Food Sovereignty and Sustainability: Educating Children and Adult Consumers

The project aims to create a Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Node for Food Sovereignty and Sustainability (KALOTROFA) at Panteion University. The main goal is to sensitize, inform and educate school students and adult consumer-citizens on dietary perceptions and attitudes embracing ethical production and consumption practices in accordance with the principles of SSE and sustainability, as reflected in the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.     In collaboration with the Open Lab Athens, the research team is creating an innovative educational toolkit through participatory workshops with the program partner organizations (1st Regional Educational Planning Center of Attica, Hellenic Society for Local Development and Government, Dock- SSE Collaborative Space) to co-develop coherent educational materials and a pilot learning tool in the form of a board game.

The survey was approved within the framework of the 3rd Action Proclamation Science and Society - Research, innovation and dissemination nodes" of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) in Theme 3: Circular and social economy nodes.
