Statistics II: Sample theory and practice

The course is an introduction to the basic ideas of sampling for the large-scale social sample surveys. It covers elements of the theory of probability sampling and its implementation: sampling frame, simple random sampling, systematic sampling, stratified sampling, cluster sampling, non-probability sampling, sampling and non-sampling errors, sample size and response and non-response.
