Launch of the Executive Master’s in “Territorial Planning and Economic Development of rural Areas”- SmartAL (Erasmus+ Capacity building in Higher Education project) in Albania with the participation of the Social Policy Laboratory

The executive Master’s in “Territorial Planning and Economic Development of Rural Areas” is to be inaugurated on January 18, 2021. The Master’s program was elaborated in the framework of the Erasmus+ KΑ2- SmartAl “Master in European Innovations for a Sustainable Management of Albanian Territories, rural areas and agriculture: Instruments, policies, strategies” (2017-2021), coordinated by the CIHEAM-IAM of Montpellier with the participation of Panteion University (Prof. T. Anthopoulou), the Paul Valery University (France), and the Hohenheim University (Germany) from the EU, in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Tirana, the European University of Tirana, and the Fan S.Noli University of Korca from Albania. 

SmartAl executive master's program aims at improving the theoretical and practical knowledge of the participants on territory administration and governance, agricultural policies, sustainable management of territorial resources, economic development and innovation in rural areas as well as their negotiation and participative decision-making skills.
