Areti Mavrommati - Lagani

Areti Mavrommati - Lagani is a graduate of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens. In the period 2018 - 2020, she continued her postgraduate studies at the Department of Social Policy of Panteion University. During her studies, she researched issues related to gender equality and labor policies. Her dissertation focuses on the demands of the feminist movement and its influence in different EU countries to adopt policies to counteract violence against women. She continues her research on the demands of the feminist movement and the policies to counteract violence against women as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Social Policy.  Areti Mavrommati - Lagani is Vice – President of Panteion’s University Gender Equality Committee and participates in smaller feminist groups in Greece and abroad.
