Crisis and Social Policy

The aim of the course is to explore the different approaches to social policy as an organized collective response to the problems caused by the crisis in its various dimensions (economic, financial, social, political, ethical, etc.). The course also examines the European Union’s actions in times of crisis and the impact of the austerity measures of the current recession in Greek social policy.
