Housing policy and social inequalities 510100

The aim of this seminar is to acquaint students with the subject of Housing Policy and how this is integrated into the fields of social policy. The dimension of the home is approached through a variety of perspectives from different scientific disciplines (e.g. spatial planning, geography, anthropology, etc.). This seminar approaches housing exclusion as a form of social inequality that social policies are attempting to address. Particular emphasis is placed on homelessness and housing exclusion in the light of the principal theoretical approaches, the available research methods and techniques, and the existing policies implemented at European and national level.
