Introduction to social and economic geography

Introduction to basic concepts and methodological approaches in Social and Economic Geography; study and interpretation of social organization of space and the relationships between space, society and nature. The course covers the following main topics: Population Geography, Processes and phenomena of urbanization, Agrarian structures and rural geography, Valorization of natural resources and sustainable development, Industrial Geography, Services and Tourism Geography, Infrastructure and Transport networks within globalisation processes.
