Stochastic models for the social sciences

The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the use of stochastic models for the description of social processes and complex social systems. The course is an introduction to the construction and use of processes that provide a well established methodology for every social scientist. The course covers stochastic processes, discrete time processes for the description of social mobility in closed and open social systems.

It will not be taught during the academic year 2018-2019.
