Current Developments in Social Security

The aim of the course is to understand the evolutionary course of the Social Security System in Greece, mainly after the economic crisis that hit our country. The course deals with the new framework for shaping the Social Security system that came from the country's memoranda of cooperation and formed a new legal framework for the consolidation and sustainability of the Social Security System (SKA), according to lenders. The most important legislative developments are presented and analyzed, the effects they had on SKA as well as whether they contribute to the viability of the System.
