Professor
Christos Bagavos studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris. He is Professor of Demography at the Department of Social Policy, Panteion University. He was consultant in demography at the European Commission and national expert at the European Observatory on the Social Situation, Demography and Family. His publications and research interests focus on methods and analyses of differentials in fertility, migration and health status and on the socio-economic implications of demographic shifts.
