Unemployment, Labour Market Policies and Public Employment Services

The course is an introduction to the methods of design and evaluation of employment policies, once the types of policies are classified according to their aims and theoretical framework of reference. In particular, it distinguishes the traditional evaluation of programmes from the targeted evaluation of policies, the microeconomic from the macroeconomic evaluation of results and presents the experimental and non-experimental evaluation methods.
