This seminar aims at studying housing problems and housing policy interventions. Particular emphasis is given to ways of mitigating housing inequalities and addressing the housing exclusion of vulnerable groups (such as homeless, migrants and refugees). The main themes that are being developed concern the theoretical, comparative and research dimensions of Housing Policy. An important role is also played by the analysis of the methodology for housing research. Indicatively, the theoretical relationship between housing and social policy, the main causes of the housing problems, the basic forms of housing policy, the planning and implementation of social housing programs, the treatment of housing problems in Europe and Greece during the period of economic and pandemic crisis.
